Job summary

Heritage Hall Blackstone is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our dedicated care team. This full‑time role focuses on developing and facilitating engaging resident activities, promoting social interaction and well‑being in a compassionate environment.

You will work nights and weekends as needed, support residents and families, and collaborate with clinical staff to tailor programs to individual needs. A high school diploma and VA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in directing individual and group activities.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• A valid VA driver's license.
• Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resident activities.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with care teams to tailor programs to individual needs.
