Job summary

Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in Billings, MT is seeking a friendly Activities Assistant (Part-Time) to foster engagement among residents. The role emphasizes a kind approach, listening, building rapport, and clear communication as you support activity plans.

You will implement group programming, coordinate schedules with staff, conduct one-to-one visits, and help with transport and light housekeeping in activity areas.

Responsibilities

• Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
• Notifies residents and staff of activity schedules.
• Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis to provide a friendly visitor, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, and meeting individual needs per Activity Plan.
• Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel to transport residents to and from activity areas.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
• Notifies residents and staff of activity schedules.
• Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis as directed by the Activities Director in order to provide:
• A friendly visitor.
• Sensory stimulation.
• Reality orientation.
• A means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan.
• Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
• Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas
