Activities Assistant

Location: The Mole Resort

Basic Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours per week: 20-40

Here at The Mole Resort, we have launched a brand new resort set in 125 acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food, drinks, and exciting activities.

As an Activities Assistant, you are required to provide a professional, dynamic, and friendly service to our guests, demonstrating a good understanding of the products and services available.

What will I be doing?

Supporting the Leisure and Activities Manager in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational programs and activities to enhance the guest experience. This role is essential in creating a vibrant atmosphere and ensuring guests have access to engaging and enjoyable activities.

  • Taking activity bookings and checking in guests.
  • Handling activity inquiries with good knowledge.
  • Providing a safe and secure environment for guests, especially young guests.
  • Interacting with guests to encourage participation, building positive relationships, and providing personalized attention to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Preparing activity areas, including arranging furniture and equipment; ensuring spaces are clean and safe before and after activities.
  • Working closely with other staff members to coordinate activities.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and organizational policies, ensuring activities are conducted safely and respectfully.
  • Maintaining facilities to the highest standards and reporting faults or maintenance issues.
  • Following operating procedures for opening and closing the facility.
  • Communicating with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Complying with current health and safety legislation.
  • Liaising with other departments to promote teamwork.

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or leisure environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
