In this role, you will collaborate with Nursing and Therapy, support group activities and one-on-one interactions, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. A high school diploma and a friendly, team-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience in a healthcare or recreational setting; prior experience in activities, social services, or related fields a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, prioritizing patient care and comfort.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse personalities and needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing activities such as arts and crafts, games, bingo, and trivia.
• Facilitate socialization and interaction among patients and residents during group and one-on-one activities.
• Monitor engagement and participation, reporting changes to the Activities Director.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for activities and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Collaborate with Nursing and Therapy to support patient care and rehabilitation.

• Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, games, bingo, trivia, and other activities tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our patients and residents
• Facilitate socialization and interaction among patients and residents, including group activities, one-on-one interactions, and special events
• Monitor patients' and residents' engagement and participation, reporting any changes or concerns to the Activities Director
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for activities, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good condition
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Nursing and Therapy, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care and rehabilitation
