Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston in Clarkston, MI is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs. This role promotes hospitality and patient well-being through engaging activities designed to be therapeutic and enjoyable.

The position offers base wages plus Hero Pay, with room for wage increases and growth within the company. Part-time schedule includes 2-3 days per week with rotating weekends, and 401k with employer match is available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred (not required).
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games and do crafts, this position may be for you!

You will earn:

• Base wages $15.15 per hour
• PLUS $0.85 per hour Hero Pay!
• Yearly Wage Increases

Work arrangements:
