Job summary

Loveland Care Center in Loveland, OH is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, organize, and lead recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in a long-term care setting.

You will work with the Activities Director to tailor activities to individual resident needs, promoting social, cognitive, and physical well-being through engaging programs and events.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Preferred but not required; prior activities coordination with elderly care is a plus.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, patience, empathy, creativity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules.
• Lead and facilitate group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, and exercise.
• Monitor residents' safety, mood, and participation during activities.
• Document attendance and participation according to facility policies.
• Prepare activity spaces and clean up after events.

The goal is to enhance residents' quality of life through social, physical, emotional, and cognitive stimulation.
