Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a Recreation Activities Coordinator to support resident programs at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH. This role focuses on facilitating group activities and promoting well-being.

You will assist with transporting residents, planning and leading recreation programs, and promoting facility programs to residents, staff, families and volunteers. A High School diploma and 2+ years in a patient activities program, or a related degree with a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
