Job summary

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant to enrich residents' lives by coordinating group and individual activities. You will lead recreational, sensory, or therapeutic programs, encourage participation, and support events and outings, working closely with a compassionate team.

A high school diploma or GED is required; prior experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
• Interest/background in recreation, social work, or healthcare support is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize activity supplies and materials.

What You'll Do:

As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents by coordinating and leading both group and individual activities designed to promote engagement, independence, and well-being. You'll work alongside other team members to:

• Lead recreational, sensory, or therapeutic activities tailored to residents' needs and abilities
