  • Collaborates with branch program staff on Active Older Adult programming efforts for the Association, including the development and maintenance of engagement and recruitment strategies geared towards older adults
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to story tell impact and outcomes of strategies
  • Utilize data platforms to formally track and report outcomes
  • Executes member engagement and sales strategies that promote retention and recruitment of AOA members
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community partners in alignment with AOA-related interests and strategic priorities
  • Operate in alignment with GWRYMCA's Community Health Team to drive awareness, recruitment, and enrollment in chronic disease prevention programming
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to motivate and empower a diverse client base to make healthy lifestyle changes
  • College degree in Health Education, Health Science, Exercise Science, or related field preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Experience facilitating group exercise programming for older adults strongly preferred
  • Experience in the implementation and facilitation of health and wellness programming preferred
  • Experience coordinating large-scale activities or events preferred
  • Must possess reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations through the Greater St. Louis region
  • Program certifications required for relevant programs (i.e., YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach Certification, Healthy Heart Ambassador Certification, etc.)*
  • Within 30 days of employment or at first available training.
