Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porters (Field Services Technicians) to keep communities clean and safe. You’ll work independently at nearby apartment communities, stay active, and see the results of your work daily.

You’ll use a mobile app to track tasks, enjoy a steady daytime schedule, and have a reliable routine with typical shifts Sunday–Thursday or Wednesday–Sunday starting around 6:00 AM for 10-15+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Auto insurance for the vehicle being used is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Smartphone with data plan to download and use our work app.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required).
• Ability to work independently and follow a routine.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dumpster areas, trash enclosures, and common spaces so communities stay clean and welcoming.
• Compact and organize trash using company-provided equipment.
• Handle recycling and compost materials according to procedures.
• Remove debris, sweep areas, and complete general porter services.
• Remove pet waste from designated areas using provided supplies.
• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Use our mobile app to track work, complete tasks, and confirm service.
• Stay active by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
