Job summary

Daniels Health in Nashville, TN seeks a Hospital Service Technician to perform on-site medical waste collection and container exchanges in a physically active, fast-paced healthcare setting. You will work directly with hospital staff and patients in a role that requires mobility and attention to safety.

You will lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs, maintain inventory, and use a company smartphone to coordinate tasks.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy carts up to 300 lbs.
• Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, especially paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from site.
• Can-do attitude with experience in labor-intensive or logistics roles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
