Job summary

Allied Universal in Boulder, CO is seeking an Active Clearance Security Officer for a part-time role. You will serve clients, perform security procedures, monitor access, and deter incidents at an aerospace/defense site while delivering professional customer service.

The position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. CPR/First Aid is preferred; 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and HS diploma required.

Pay Rate: $26.14 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
