Job summary

Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District seeks an Active Adult Representative to deliver friendly service to our 55+ community and guests. You will assist with daily operations, help with refreshments and activities, and keep the center clean and welcoming.

The role requires good communication, basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work varied shifts including holidays. Background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and pass a background check.
• Must be available for all shifts including days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist 55+ community members and guests.
• Assist with daily operations and facility set up/break down.
• Perform janitorial tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing equipment and spaces.
• Maintain basic computer records using Excel, Word, and Outlook; utilize CivicRec and Paylocity as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
