Job summary

ncgCARE is seeking an ACT Therapist in Hayesville, NC, to join a multidisciplinary team providing Assertive Community Treatment. You will build therapeutic relationships, support skill development, crisis intervention, and care coordination to help clients achieve stability and independence.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field and North Carolina licensure (LCSW/LCSWA/LCMHC/LCMHCA/LMFT or psychologist).

Qualifications

• At Minimum must have a Master's Degree in counseling, social work or related field.
• Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina; Licenses include LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist
• A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with care teams as needed
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
• Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
