Job summary

Appalachian Community Services in Hayesville, NC is seeking an experienced clinical leader to head our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. You will guide a multidisciplinary group to deliver recovery-focused services and coordinate with partners and care teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling or related field, at least two years of behavioral health experience, NC licensure, and active EMR use.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree from an accredited university in Counseling or a related field
• A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses
• Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina; Licenses include LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist
• General working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Employee supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
