We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Therapist III supervisory position for a recovery-oriented, evidence-based, community program-Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The team serves adults with serious mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia) or co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Services are primarily provided outside the office in the community, residential settings, and/or client's homes. The work involves clinical supervision, assessment, intervention, counseling/therapy, treatment, and rehabilitation of clients requiring application of basic counseling knowledge and skills in working with clients and families. Schedule includes 1 evening per week and rotating weekends, and holidays.
This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $5,000. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments. The first installment of $2,500 will be paid after you have completed 90 days of employment. The final $2,500 installment will be disbursed upon successful completion of the probationary period.Prince William County Community Services maintains a drug-free workplace.
Monday-Friday day shifts (e.g., 8-4, 9-5) and 1 evening shift per week. Schedules are flexible and will be further discussed during the interview.
Weekends and holidays are assigned on a rotating basis; the supervisor on call is volunteer/assigned amongst supervisors
