Job summary

Prince William County Community Services seeks a Supervisory Therapist IV (Clinical Services Case Management Manager) to lead the CORP/WRP team. Primary office is Woodbridge with services countywide, overseeing therapists and guiding treatment for pregnant/parenting women with substance use disorders.

The role includes supervising licensure progress, ensuring evidence-based care, and coordinating with multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related behavioral field.
• 3 years' experience overseeing and delivering clinical services to women with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
• 2 years of professional supervisory experience.
• Licensed in Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and clinical/administrative supervision to a team of Therapist IIs and one Therapist III.
• Supervise a program with federal block grant requirements, delivering therapy and case management to pregnant/parenting women.
• May provide clinical supervision towards licensure.
• Ensure evidence-based group and individual interventions for women with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate with Community Services and collateral agencies within the county.
• Complete chart reviews and billing approvals monthly to stay compliant with agency/state regulations.

Summary

PWC Community Services Comprehensive Outpatient Recovery Program (CORP) is looking for a clinical superstar on our Women’s Recovery Project (WRP) team! We are seeking an individual interested in being part of a creative and productive team in an organization whose mission is a commitment to improving the quality of life for men and women in the Prince William County community.

Prince William County Community Services is looking for a supervisory Therapist IV (Clinical Services Case Management Manager) who is committed to helping individuals and their families recover from substance use and co-occurring disorders through a system of care that respects and promotes the dignity, rights, and full participation of adults and their families.

This position qualifies for a $5,000 hiring bonus. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments. The first installment of $2,500 will be paid after you have completed 90 days of employment. The final $2,500 installment will be disbursed upon successful completion of the probationary period.

About This Role

The role of Clinical Services Case Management Manager (Therapist IV) is central to the treatment work within the CORP (Comprehensive Outpatient Recovery Program)/WRP (Women’s Recovery Project) team. The primary office for this position is located in Woodbridge however services are provided throughout Prince William County. In this position, you will provide oversight and clinical and administrative supervision to a team of Therapist IIs and one Therapist III to support women who are pregnant and/or parenting and who have a substance use disorder. You will also be providing oversight to a program with federal block grant requirements, which includes providing therapy and case management services to women who are pregnant and/or parenting. You may provide clinical supervision towards licensure. You will ensure that evidence-based interventions provided in group and individual settings targets women with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. You will collaborate with other programs within Community Services as well as collateral agencies in the community. You should have knowledge and experience in completing, reviewing and delivering services to individuals with various payor options, including Medicaid and Medicare; you should understand billing requirements. You will complete chart reviews and billing approvals monthly to remain in compliance with agency and state regulatory agencies. You should have experience in conducting comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, ASAM Criteria assessments and the WHODAS. You may also provide individual or group treatment as needed by your team. Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral science field
• 3 years' experience providing oversight and direct clinical services to women with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
• 2 years of professional-level supervisory experience
• Must be licensed in Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Preferences

• Experience keeping clinical documentation in an electronic health record
• Experience working with women with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
• Experience completing and reviewing Medicaid documentation
• Competent in using DSM 5 for assessment and diagnosis of conditions requiring treatment
• Have experience identifying, assessing, and treating risk and crisis management
• Training in harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and stages of change theory.
• Experience researching and developing evidenced based programming
• Have experience conducting substance use/co-occurring assessments, to include the ASAM Criteria and WHODAS
• Experience with recovery support in a harm-reduction model
• Have excellent communication, organizational and conflict resolution skills
• Have excellent boundaries with others (team members, clients, colleagues)
• Have experience providing substance use/co-occurring Individual and group therapy and case management services
• Have experience referring clients to services in the community or to other programs within the same agency
• Experience collaborating with other departments & stakeholders
• Experience working in a team environment and/or with shared clients
• Have good time management skills

Special Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass DMV record check
• Must pass TB test
• Must pass and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
• Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint-based National Criminal History Record Check
• Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

Starting Salary Range

$91,162.50 - $121,836.00
