Job summary

The Guidance Center is seeking a Team Leader for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program in Michigan. The role focuses on psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapy and community-based support for adults with serious mental illness and their families.

You will work with the ACT team and community providers to ensure program fidelity, supervise (co-facilitate) team meetings, and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling with active Michigan licensure.
• Two years' experience in adult mental health or substance use treatment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapy and community-based support to adults with serious mental illness.
• Collaborate with ACT team and community providers to ensure fidelity and efficient operation.
• Assist with orientation and co-facilitate ACT team meetings; provide crisis intervention and on-call coverage.

Education

Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling

LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure (Michigan)
