Overview

We are hiring for an ACT Team Leader in Jackson, MI. The Team Leader leads the team in providing ACT services to individuals with chronic mental illness who require intensive outpatient treatment. This individual provides clinical guidance, direction, and support to their team and the Impact program's consumers. The Team Leader is responsible for the administration of the ACT Impact outpatient treatment program in accordance with policies and procedures, Medicaid, and CARF standards. Considerable independent judgment is used in carrying out the duties, including oversight of treatment planning, first services, therapy, coordination of care, and discharge processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance, direction, and support to the ACT team and the Impact program’s consumers.
• Administer the ACT Impact outpatient treatment program in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, Medicaid requirements, and CARF standards.
• Exercise independent judgment in duties including oversight of treatment planning, delivery of first services, therapy, coordination of care, and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field.
• Training and knowledge of mental health and community resources with 2 years direct service experience.
• Licensure in social work or psychology in the State of Michigan is required.
• Certification in addiction through MCBAP is required.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Code, Medicaid Standards, and CARF standards is required.
• Must live within a 45 minute radius of the Impact office to meet on-call responsibilities.
