Job summary

Prince William County Government in Virginia seeks a Therapist IV to supervise an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team serving adults with serious mental illness. The role focuses on clinical supervision, risk assessment, counseling, and coordinating services in the community, including home visits, jails, and other settings.

You will lead fidelity, ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, manage case load, and provide supervision to staff while working a schedule that includes

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral science field.
• 3 years' experience providing oversight and direct clinical services to adults with complex mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
• 2 years of professional-level supervisory experience.
• Must be licensed in Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of case management and therapy services.
• Lead the ACT team, oversee fidelity, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Perform risk assessment and crisis intervention for high-risk individuals.
• Coordinate and integrate program components; evaluate prevention programs.
• Maintain clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record per policies.
