Prince William County Community Services seeks a full-time Therapist III supervisor for an ACT team serving adults with serious mental illness. The role involves supervision, direct therapy, and case management in community settings, with evening and rotating weekend hours.

The position includes a $5,000 hiring bonus paid in two installments and requires a Virginia-licensed clinician with relevant experience. Benefits are offered and the team emphasizes recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required for consideration.
• Unrestricted LPC or LCSW license in Virginia is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering human services in a mental health outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial ACT eligibility screening and manages screening/waitlists.
• Provides real-time supervision and guidance to ACT staff during community visits.
• Consults with program leadership to address staffing and complex cases.
• Assists ACT Team Leader in daily operations and staff meetings.
• Delivers intensive mental health therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Provides case management to improve access to benefits and supports.
• Collaborates with housing providers, probation, social services, and discharge planners.
• Completes clinical documentation to ensure licensing standards.
• Plans in-service training for ACT staff and oversees supervisees.
• Performs outreach to locate out-of-touch clients and conducts outreach visits.
