RHA Health Services in the United States is seeking an ACT Nurse Type: Regular to provide oversight and general nursing care to individuals with behavioral health challenges in the community. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, following crisis plans, monitoring medications, and supporting patient education.

The role requires an active RN license; a BSN is preferred and about one year of nursing experience is advantageous.

• Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.

We are hiring for: ACT Nurse Type: Regular. This position may be a member of a team that provides support, services, and treatments necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions, and crisis prevention activities or services related to specialized populations that require intensive interventions.

Provides oversight and general nursing care and services to persons with behavioral health challenges in the community by performing the duties listed in this job description. Relies on education, skill, and judgment to provide quality services to the people we serve with limited direction and supervision.

Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: Requires a unencumbered Registered Nursing License. For certain behavioral health services additional requirements may apply.

Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included: Required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Valid drivers license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
• Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.

• Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
