Job summary

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Client Services Manager/Co-Occurring Specialist to join the ACT/IDDT team in Houghton, Michigan. The role focuses on providing services to individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, within a community-based setting.

The position includes offering supportive services, developing treatment plans, coordinating referrals, and maintaining confidential records, with a starting salary range and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a directly related field is required.
• Current Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Michigan.
• Certification as an Addictions Counselor, or ability to obtain certification within 3 years if hired.
• Experience in the mental health services field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Supportive Services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
• Coordinate ACT/IDDT Services as part of a multidisciplinary community-based team.
• Develop Treatment Plans reflecting goals, needs, and progress.
• Manage Referrals to connect individuals with services and resources.
• Monitor Progress and adjust services to support stability and growth.
• Coordinate Benefits and Services to access needed supports and care.
• Maintain Confidential Records ensuring security and privacy.
