Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst III to conduct in-depth research and analysis identifying acquisition targets and assessing financials and strategic fit. The role operates independently on complex issues within a federal contracting context and requires prior DoW contracting experience.

Expect to manage reporting, closeout tasks, and staff training. The position offers comprehensive benefits, eligibility on hire, and a path within a diverse organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Department of War (DoW) contract specialist (1102) within the previous 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract closeout metrics and canceling funds reports to identify areas to improve reporting and performance across the Command.
• Manually close old contracts that are ready for closeout and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.
• Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
• Create and update standard and ad-hoc reports to meet SSP, DCMA, DFAS, SECNAV, ASN(RDA), DASN(P), Congressional, and OSW data calls and reporting needs.
• Provide administrative support for reporting and audits, including IVV, NMCARS Reporting, IPMAP audits, and other ad hoc SSP audits.

The Acquisitions Analyst III is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their financial performance and strategic fit. Works independently as a specialist on complex technical and business matters. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level. Must be able to pass a drug test Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. DAWIA Level I or equivalent in contracting, program management, or finance preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze contract closeout metrics and canceling funds reports to identify areas to improve reporting and performance across the Command.
• Manually close old contracts that are ready for closeout and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.
• Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
• Create and update standard and ad‑hoc reports to meet Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN(RDA)), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Procurement) (DASN(P)), Congressional, and Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) data calls and reporting needs.
• Provide administrative support (i.e., records management) for reporting and audits, including Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) Reporting, Internal Procurement Management Assessment Program (IPMAP) audits, and other ad hoc SSP local audits.
• Maintain a master schedule of all reporting and audit deliverables (weekly/bi-weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) and request, review, and consolidate accurate, verifiable inputs from SSP staff.

Policy Journeyman Skills Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) (NMCARS knowledge is a plus), contract closeout processes, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) applications, the Electronic Data Access (EDA) module, and data analytics. Technical skills such as Tableau, Advana/War Data Platform, MS Office, Navy Electronic Procurement System (ePS) (or similar contract writing system), Adobe Professional, etc. Critical thinking, oral and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, business acumen, understanding industry, creativity and innovation, teambuilding, and accountability.

The estimated pay range for this role is $107400 to $110,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
