Job summary

KSA Integration is seeking an Acquisition Specialist for MCICOM Facilities Directorate. You will draft SOWs and PWSs for facilities construction, sustainment, and demolition; gather inputs, coordinate with stakeholders, and produce acquisition-ready documents for government approval.

The role is contingent upon award, full-time on-site at MCIC Quantico, with a Fall 2026 start and opportunity to support a dynamic government program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, English, technical writing, or related field.
• 4–6 years of DoW acquisition or technical writing experience.
• Familiarity with federal contracting documentation requirements and SOW/PWS standards.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
• Active Secret clearance required and CAC eligibility.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoW CAC; interim Secret at start and duration.

Responsibilities

• Draft SOWs and PWSs from technical inputs, stakeholder interviews, and prior contract reference documents.
• Incorporate Government review comments and revise documents through multiple iteration cycles to meet acceptance standards.
• Maintain document version control and track deliverable status against monthly production targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and program staff to gather project-specific technical details.
• Support market research data calls and IGCE package compilation as directed by the Senior Specialist.

Position Overview

This position supports the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Facilities Directorate’s Writing Cell as an Acquisition Specialist. Your role will be to draft Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS) for a broad portfolio of facilities construction, sustainment, and demolition projects in support of program tasks. You will work under the direction of the Senior Acquisition Specialist to gather technical inputs, conduct coordination, and develop acquisition-ready documentation for Government review and approval.

Position Responsibilities

• Draft SOWs and PWSs from technical inputs, stakeholder interviews, and prior contract reference documents

• Support market research data calls and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) package compilation as directed by the Senior Specialist

Requirements

• 4–6 years of DoW acquisition or technical writing experience
• Familiarity with federal contracting documentation requirements and SOW/PWS structure and standards
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Active Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Common Access Card (CAC); active Secret clearance (or interim Secret at minimum) required at start of performance and maintained for the duration of the contract

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with facilities or construction programs strongly preferred
