Job summary

S3, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Security Specialist for the SHIELD Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This in-office role (40 hours/week) requires up to 25% travel and a SECRET clearance, with TS clearance a plus.

The position supports all aspects of acquisition security and related security programs. The candidate will independently manage security tasks, assist with personnel and information security, OPSEC, industrial security, foreign disclosure, and test site security, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive Program Security experience.
• Must have or be eligible for SECRET clearance; Top Secret (TS) a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite for analysis, research, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Security Classification Guides (SCGs), OPSEC plans, DD254s, security incident reports, and briefings.
• Support acquisitions and competitive acquisition efforts when possible.
• Maintain a strong customer service orientation for Project Office personnel.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Description:

The Contractor Program Security Specialist will manage and execute all aspects of acquisition security. This is a full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week) that requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

The Acquisition Security Analyst will act as a dedicated acquisition security specialist, working independently with minimal oversight to support the daily operations of all functional security areas. This includes hands-on support for personnel security, information security, OPSEC, industrial security, foreign disclosure, and test site security.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare critical security documentation, including Security Classification Guides (SCGs), OPSEC plans, DD254s, security incident reports, and briefings.
• Support new acquisitions and competitive acquisition efforts is highly desired (a plus).
• Maintain a strong customer service orientation for Project Office personnel.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive Program Security experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• A minimum of a SECRET security clearance is required; an active Top Secret (TS) clearance is a plus.
• 4 out of 5 proficiency using MS Office Suite for analysis, research, and document management.
• Have held responsibility for overseeing program security in a project office environment.
• Have handled sensitive information using Foreign Disclosure and COMSEC protocols in your past security roles.
