Mayvin, Inc. is seeking a Jr Acquisition Quality Manager to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane, IN. The role emphasizes improving quality, schedule, and efficiencies through procurement data analysis and adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required. The position is on-site with hybrid flexibility and contingent upon award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; preferred but not required.
• Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of two years of DoD acquisition experience.
• Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods and lead meetings.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS; NAVSEA IT compliance.
• Ability to multitask and switch between tasks quickly.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Office and web-based applications.

• Collect procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority for acquisition plans and resources.
• Prepare the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement.
• Maintain electronic or hardcopy data libraries of documents and work orders.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS including NSWC Crane QA Guide.
• Provide policy and procedure recommendations for FAR and non-FAR requirements.
• Liaise between resource sponsors, program/project managers, staff, and Navy contracting department.

Job description

Mayvin is seeking experienced applicants for a Jr Acquisition Quality Manager to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center located in Crane, IN. Must be US Citizen.

Clearance Required: Yes - Active Secret Clearance

Location: Crane, IN (On-site/Hybrid)

Position: Contingent upon award of Contract.

Responsibilities:

• Develop tracks and provide analysis of procurement data and packages to provide recommendations to improve quality, schedule and efficiencies


• Collect procurement requirements from the government Requiring Technical Authority (RTA) to be used in acquisition plans and to determine resources and track procurement packages


• Preparation of the technical data package (TDP) for each procurement requirement identified


• Establishes and maintains electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing


• Ensures organizational adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS to include NSWC Crane Acquisition Quality Assurance Guide


• Provides recommendations concerning policies and procedures to ensure adherence to the Regulations and Directives for both FAR and Non-FAR based requirements


• Liaison between resource sponsors, program/project managers, their staff and the US Navy contracting department

Required Skills Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited university is preferred, not required.


• Secret clearance required


• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with DoD acquisition


• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups


• Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills


• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA (compliance)


• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds


• Mastery in use of personal computers with extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications


• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
