Position: Acquisition Program Analyst, Journeyman

The Acquisition Program Analyst, Journeyman prepares and revises project management strategy documentation, including timelines, milestones, and strategic planning techniques for near and long-term support for acquisition management. The analyst will utilize a systems approach in decision-making, considering supportability, lifecycle costs, performance, and schedule. Documentation should aim to procure Agile solutions and project management services following customer templates, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and recommend improvements for acquisition business processes.
2. Prepare Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs) and advise on acquisition strategies and plans.
3. Review and assess impacts of policy updates and regulations.
4. Assist in drafting and maintaining acquisition documentation such as BCAs, acquisition strategies, cost estimates, SCARs, market research, PWS, etc.
5. Leverage data repositories in SharePoint and Project Web App to manage documentation, budgets, tasks, and stakeholder presentations.
6. Ensure consistency in documentation formats using program templates.
7. Coordinate and facilitate IPTs and WIPTs to support project goals.
8. Draft and submit acquisition reports and coordinate regulatory certifications.
9. Contribute to project status reviews, briefings, and external audits.
10. Conduct research, analysis, and develop briefing materials and business cases.
11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
12. Produce process documentation, correspondence, business analyses, acquisition plans, market reports, briefing materials, and other project documentation.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of DoD processes, FAR, and DFARS.
• DAWIA contracting certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, SharePoint, and Project.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with integrity.
