Job summary

NSS seeks an Acquisition Management Support Analyst (All Levels) to join our defense consulting team on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will support program managers with acquisition, analytics, and financial workflows, delivering actionable insights.

Tiered roles require 1+ to 10–15+ years in defense acquisitions. Active Secret clearance (or immediate clearability) and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or a related technical field.
• Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance or demonstrate immediate clearability (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with common enterprise computer systems, financial acumen, and exceptional analytical skills.

Experience & Career Tiering:

We are actively mapping candidates to the following tiers based on experience:

• Associate Tier: Greater than 1 year (>1) of relevant professional acquisition experience.
• Specialist Tier: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience. Requires solid familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures, the DoD 5000 process, and Navy PEO major acquisition frameworks.
• Senior/Principal Tier: 10–15+ years of senior-level defense acquisition experience managing high-consequence Navy systems command portfolios.
