What You’ll Get to Do
Successful candidate shall provide support to SEA 00U, the University Affiliated Research Center Program Office, including:
- Contract Execution and Management: Track and review task documentation, enter initial task data into SEA 00U database, route documents to contact managers, assist with creation of task files, research customer acceptance notifications, maintain central files, and provide data entry for tasks and obligations.
- Database Maintenance and Programming for Reports: Conduct daily file close-out and backup, establish new file structures, resolve system problems, track documents in EDA, maintain and manipulate information in CDMS, and program for new or ad hoc reports.
Develop and Provide Cyclic Reports
- Develop weekly financial status reports, monthly sponsor status reports, task status reports, management reports, financial execution reports, ad hoc reports, and data calls for DDR&E and NSF.
Task Close-out
- Monitor task close-outs, identify tasks for closure, draft confirmation letters, maintain files for closed tasks, and prepare final reports and documentation.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with databases, preferably Navy databases such as CDMS and EDA.
- Understanding of the PPB&E system, especially contractual execution from Task Order submission to close-out.
- Current Secret clearance.
- Significant on-the-job training provided.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Naval Sea System Command policies, procedures, and processes.
This is a hybrid position working at the customer site Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
