Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma Religious Studies or Master’s Degree in Divinity required.
• Experience in hospital spiritual care, 3–5 years required.
• ACPE Educator certification required.
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) certification required.
• Endorsements for hospital Chaplaincy and CPE supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Spiritual Care department and collaborate with other departments.
• Plan and coordinate CPE units and orient new students.
• Supervise the Clinical Pastoral Education program.
• Update policies and procedures per ACPE standards.
• Provide direct spiritual care to patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in multifaith worship planning and events.
• Engage in continuing education and ACPE activities.
