Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Applied Research Laboratories seeks an Acoustics Signal Processing Analyst at the Pickle Research Campus. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• Experience with signal processing, automation, acoustics, or related areas.
• Experience in an applied research environment.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Process and/or analyze acoustic data for SONAR system development.
• Conduct acoustic and system engineering to test and evaluate signal processing and automation algorithms.
• Implement and research-grade software and analysis tools in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages.
• Prepare analysis presentations and technical reports.
• Support collaborative research efforts with other team members.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.
