Techlite, a division of Zippertubing, seeks an Acoustics Interior Designer in Tempe to blend design, acoustics, and customer collaboration. You will design custom acoustic panel solutions for commercial interiors, develop renderings, and work closely with architects and contractors.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in interior or architectural design and 5+ years of experience in related fields; on-site work in Tempe with a collaborative team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years in interior or architectural design; commercial projects.
- Strong portfolio of commercial or architectural work.
- Experience presenting design concepts to clients.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and design software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design custom architectural acoustic panel solutions for interiors.
- Create product concepts, layouts, finishes, and presentations.
- Develop renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent.
- Recommend materials and finishes balancing design and acoustics.
- Curate finish palettes and sample programs for architects.
- Partner with architects, designers, and customers throughout the process.
- Interpret drawings, finish schedules, and specs.
- Present design concepts and product recommendations.
- Support product launches with design guidance.
