Job summary

TECHLITE Acoustics & Insulation is seeking an Acoustics Interior Designer in Tempe, AZ. This full-time onsite role blends design, communication, and technical problem solving to create custom acoustic panel solutions for commercial interiors.

You will collaborate with architects and designers, develop renders and material palettes, and support product launches and trade show materials, aiming to turn concepts into built environments with strong acoustics and aesthetics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Product Design, or related discipline.
5+ years in Interior/Architectural/Commercial or related design.
Strong portfolio of commercial/architectural projects.
Experience presenting concepts to customers.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
Experience with SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, CET, Rhino, SolidWorks or similar.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Design custom architectural acoustic panel solutions for commercial interiors.
Create product concepts, layouts, finishes and presentation materials.
Develop renderings, mockups, and visualizations to communicate design intent.
Recommend materials, colors, textures, and finishes.
Curate finish assortments and sample programs for architects and designers.
Partner with architects, designers, contractors throughout design process.
