Job summary

TECHLITE Acoustics & Insulation in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an Acoustics Interior Designer to blend design, communication, and technical problem solving for built spaces. You will work on workplace, education, healthcare, hospitality, technology, and government interiors, creating acoustic panel solutions and design concepts.

The role requires a strong design portfolio, collaboration with architects and designers, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in interior or architectural design with commercial focus.
• Strong portfolio of commercial/architectural projects.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience presenting concepts to clients.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design custom architectural acoustic panel solutions for commercial interiors.
• Create product concepts, layouts, finish combinations, and presentation materials.
• Develop renderings, product mockups, and visualizations to communicate design intent.
• Recommend materials, colors, textures, and finishes that support design goals and acoustic performance.
• Curate finish assortments, material palettes, and sample programs that simplify product selection for architects and interior designers.
• Partners with architects, interior designers, contractors, and customers throughout the design process.
• Assist in developing booth concepts, product displays, presentation materials, graphics, and customer engagement experiences at trade shows.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product launches, website, catalogs, photography, and trade show materials.
• Support development of new architectural product offerings.
