Job summary

Peraton is seeking experienced Acoustic Analysts to support the US Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence. This on-site role is based at ONI in Suitland, MD, where you will screen and analyze recorded acoustic data for signals of interest and contribute to the Undersea Warfare community.

You will analyze data sets, develop tracks and signatures, apply environmental data, and prepare presentations or papers for ONI data reviews, with a TS/SCI clearance and relevant submarine sonar background.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience in acoustic data screening and target track development.
• Knowledge of platform signature analysis and technical measurement methods.
• Background as submarine sonar technician, IUSS analyst, or air ASW analyst.

Responsibilities

• Analyze acoustic data sets to derive qualitative and quantitative technical measurements from recorded acoustic data.
• Perform Acoustic Intelligence screening to develop acoustic tracks and signatures, applying environmental data to analyses.
• Manipulate hardware/software configurations to read data from multiple sources.
• Attend ONI data reviews and analyst exchanges; document analyses in presentations, briefings, or technical papers.
