Job summary

Peraton Acoustic Intelligence Analysts are needed to support the US Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence. You will screen and analyze recorded acoustic data for signals of interest, contributing to the undersea warfare community and working on-site in Suitland, MD.

The role requires deep experience with acoustic data screening, target tracking, and classification, along with platform signature analysis and the ability to apply environmental data to analyses. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience screening acoustic data for threat targets and developing tracks.
• Knowledge of acoustic detection, classification, and target tracking methods.
• Understanding of platform signature analysis and environmental data usage.
• Background as submarine sonar technician, IUSS or air ASW analyst is required.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze acoustic data sets to derive qualitative and quantitative measurements.
• Screen acoustic data collections to develop tracks and signatures with environmental data.
• Modify hardware/software configurations to access data from multiple sources.
• Participate in ONI data reviews and document analyses in briefings or papers.
