Job summary

Peraton seeks qualified Acoustic Analysts to support the US Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence, with on-site work in Suitland, MD. You will screen and analyze recorded acoustic data for signals of interest, contributing to Undersea Warfare analytics and operational advantage.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in acoustic screening, target tracking, and environmental data integration, including submarine sonar or IUSS/AWS analysis experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in acoustic data screening of threat targets and development of target tracks.
• Understanding of platform signature analysis and methods of technical measurements.
• Background in submarine sonar or related naval analysis roles.
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze acoustic data sets to derive qualitative and quantitative measurements.
• Screen acoustic data collections to develop tracks and signatures with environmental data applied.
• Manipulate hardware/software configurations to read data from multiple sources.
• Attend ONI data reviews and document analyses in briefings or papers.
