Job summary

ASEC in Maryland is seeking a Systems Analyst – Acoustic SME to support the Navy's P-8A Poseidon program at NAS Patuxent River. You will apply ASW expertise across RDT&E efforts and provide technical support to the P-8A fleet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on P-8 platform as Acoustic ASW Operator.
• Strong knowledge of acoustic training systems and courseware.
• Experience across ASW operations and tactics.
• Maritime Acoustic Capability (MAC) experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support PMA-264 in engineering requirements for ASW systems.
• Coordinate with PMA-264 Class Desk.
• Develop OMI, CONOPS, CONEMPS, and system specs with documentation.
• Analyze acoustic flight data and build fleet recommendations.
• Apply ASW expertise in working groups to develop plans.
• Support STR/CDP management and evaluate ECPs.
• Provide technical support to the P-8A acoustic fleet.
• Participate in weekly program and technical meetings.
• Participate in flight duties as Project Specialist.
