Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist within the Quality Department to oversee the daily management of quality performance and data reporting for Astrana’s MSSP programs. The role combines field and office work, delivering ongoing support to ACO providers and ensuring quality measure education and data submission readiness.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, analyzing quality gaps, leading improvement initiatives, and developing educational materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in healthcare or managed care with quality improvement focus.
• 2+ years in provider relations or related healthcare roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with provider groups to assess quality reporting readiness.
• Educate providers on ACO quality performance and reporting requirements.
• Conduct on-site visits to build trust and maintain communication between ACOs and providers.
• Analyze quality performance gaps and lead improvement initiatives.
• Travel frequently within the assigned service area.
