HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to support executive-level management of resources, strategic planning, and development. The ACNO will oversee patient care areas and lead professional development to advance to a CNO role.

Key responsibilities include policy formulation, rounds to improve communication, and driving performance improvement initiatives to elevate patient experience and nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field or enrollment is required.
• Behavioral Health Inpatient experience required.
• 5+ years of supervisory nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists CNO in formulating policies/procedures aligned with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Performs regular rounds on patients, families, staff, and physicians to enhance communication and alignment of operations.
• Ensures continuous performance improvement initiatives to measure and improve quality of care.
