Ace Rent A Car – Minneapolis, operated by Walser Automotive Group, is seeking a Shift Supervisor at MSP Airport. You will supervise Rental Agents, manage daily operations, and ensure top‑tier customer service.

Requirements include 18+, associate degree or equivalent (or 6–12 months related experience), strong customer service and teamwork, and flexibility for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Base pay $20/hr plus incentives with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Associate’s degree required or equivalent or six months to one year related experience or training.
• Excellent customer service – friendly, attentive and responsive.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone skills to work with co-workers and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Rental Agents, Management Trainee and Management Assistant regarding customer service.
• Evaluate employee performance for customer service and sales issues and provide supervision and coaching.
• Provide input to the Branch Manager for employee performance reviews and maintain reports on performance.
• Handle employee scheduling and cover shortages.
• Handle customer complaints to conclusion and satisfaction of customer and company.
• Follow up on overdue rentals.
• Look for and repair or report any unsafe working conditions.
• Evaluate office appearance daily and implement repairs.
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.

Compensation: 20.00 + Incentives What You’ll Do:

• Perform all duties of the Rental Agents, Management Trainee and Management Assistant regarding customer service
• Evaluate employee performance for customer service and sales issues and provide employee supervision and direction through hands on training and coaching
• Provide input to the Branch Manager for employee performance reviews and maintain reports on performance and documentation of employee events

What You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Associate’s degree required or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service – friendly, attentive and responsive
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Team player attitude is a must
• Strong interpersonal and telephone skills to work effectively with co-workers and external agencies
• Good mathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Physical ability including walking, climbing; stooping; standing; kneeling; sitting; reaching; lifting/carrying at least 50 pounds frequently and at least 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to learn new software programs
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, and weekend hours
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
