Job summary

Communities In Schools of the South Plains is seeking an ACE Site Supervisor to lead after-school programs at multiple campuses. You will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe, engaging environment, and provide academic support and enrichment activities to students.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate with school staff and partners, track attendance and program records, and help students build skills for school success.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Experience working with school-age children in an educational, youth development, or after-school setting. Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• The Essentials: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to pass a criminal background check, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Program: Oversee the daily operations of the ACE after-school program, ensuring a safe, organized, and engaging environment for students.
• Supervise Staff & Volunteers: Coordinate and supervise contractors, volunteers, tutors, and enrichment providers to deliver high-quality programming.
• Support Student Success: Monitor student participation and encourage academic growth through homework assistance, tutoring, and enrichment opportunities.
• Build Community Partnerships: Connect with local organizations and community resources to provide educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Coordinate Activities: Plan and manage engaging programs that promote academic achievement, leadership, creativity, and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with School Staff: Work closely with campus administrators, teachers, and CIS staff to support student needs and program goals.
• Maintain Program Records: Track attendance, maintain required documentation, and ensure compliance with grant and organizational requirements.
