Job summary

Tejano Center in Houston seeks an ACE Site Coordinator to lead on-site implementation of Project EMBRACE at RYSS Early College at Broadway. You will oversee daily operations, staff, attendance, meals, transportation, and data entry to align with grant goals.

The role emphasizes family engagement, safety, and culturally responsive programming. Bachelor's degree preferred; Texas educator certification and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, social work, recreation, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Texas educator certification or recognized youth-development credential preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within the timeline established by RYSS.
• Clear and valid Texas driver's license; ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule.
• Must satisfy all criminal history, fingerprinting, and other screening requirements applicable to school personnel and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader responsible for implementing all components of Project EMBRACE at an assigned RYSS campus.
• Manage daily operations, staff, student safety, attendance, academic and enrichment activities, family engagement, partner services, transportation, meals, data entry, and compliance.
• Ensure that the ACE center operates as a seamless extension of the school day and delivers a welcoming, culturally responsive, evidence-based program.
