Job summary

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Juvenile Justice, is seeking a Program Coordinator in Mayfield, KY. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least three years of professional experience in management or administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Three years of professional experience in management or administration.
A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Administrative or business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

Coordinates activities within DJJ facilities in implementing ACA and PREA accreditation processes.
Collaborates with program participants on planning, implementing, and monitoring program services.
Coordinates the ACA accreditation process; provides documentation for 422 ACA standards (31 mandatory).
Oversees and reviews staff involved in accreditation; ensures compliance with ACA and updates as needed.
Maintains records, reviews facility files, and archives according to retention schedules.
Collects and analyzes data related to programs; works with Facility Managers and administrative staff to obtain required documents.
Assists in developing, facilitating, and conducting initial and annual training to ensure ACA and PREA standards are understood and complied with.
