The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice, part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, seeks a highly responsible manager for the daily operations of a DJJ group home or day treatment facility in Hopkinsville. You will supervise staff, enforce policies, and ensure ACA/SOP compliance while supporting youth development and community re-entry goals.

Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 years in public or business administration, with on-call duties and mandatory training at Louisville location.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of experience in public or business administration.

Responsabilidades

• Has overall managerial responsibility for program services in the daily operations of a DJJ group home or day treatment facility.
• Provides overall managerial responsibility for the daily supervision of assigned staff and recommends personnel actions.
• Interprets and enforces policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with ACA and SOP.
• Monitors the progress of juveniles and consults with attorneys, parents and staff as needed.
• Prepares and submits budget recommendations and staffing patterns.
• On-call 24/7 to respond to facility emergencies.
• May be required to restrain out-of-control juveniles.
• Complete DJJ Training Academy and OC spray training; physical examination required.
