Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two (2) years of law enforcement/public safety experience.
• Possess an approved Accreditation Manager certification or obtain within two years of hire.
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and write English fluently and follow both written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates departmental activities related to the accreditation process. Develops proofs of compliance, prepares policy drafts, and maintains databases.
• Participates in regular meetings with department leadership on planning, data analysis, accreditation and related matters.
• Recommends changes in policies and procedures when indicated by accreditation updates.
• Composes and edits correspondences, reports, memorandums and other materials requiring independent judgment.
