Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the Alpharetta Roswell, GA area. This in-office role runs Monday–Friday with a half-day Friday and starts as a contract with potential perm conversion.

You will handle AR and AP tasks, match invoices, verify coding, reconcile vendor statements, and investigate discrepancies while supporting general accounting functions including month-end close, inventory, purchasing, and job cost accounting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience including Accounts Receivable and Payable.
• Experience with CYMA or similar accounting software and ability to learn new software.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of Sales and Use Tax and IRS 1099 reporting.
• Able to work M-Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fridays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• AR and AP tasks including invoice matching and processing.
• Verify account coding and reconcile vendor statements.
• Investigate discrepancies and prepare reports.
• Assist with month-end, inventory, purchasing, and job cost accounting.
