ProTalent is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior for a hybrid role in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. You’ll prepare year-end accounts and tax computations for a varied portfolio, with involvement in audit fieldwork and training juniors. Part-qualified or studying ACA/ACCA/AAT is required, plus confidence with Excel and client-facing communication. A supportive team environment with progression opportunities is offered.

ABOUT THE FIRM

My client is a well-established local practice that’s part of a large UK and Ireland accountancy and business advisory group. It’s a friendly, close-knit office, but you’ve got the training, resources and specialist colleagues of a much bigger organisation behind you, which is a great set‑up when you’re still building your skills.

THE ROLE

You’ll prepare year-end accounts and tax computations for a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, working closely with the seniors and managers. There’s also some audit fieldwork, so you get a broader grounding than a pure accounts role. As you grow, you’ll start helping the juniors too.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing personal and corporation tax computations
• Helping with corporation tax and VAT returns
• Supporting audit engagements, including fieldwork

WHO THIS WILL SUIT
