Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking an Accounts Receivable Technician to manage invoicing, payments, and account reconciliation. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and timely cash flow, while communicating with students and third parties regarding payments.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, applying third-party sponsor payments, and performing balance sheet reconciliations in a complex college-wide environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of office experience related to processing financial transactions.
• Degrees in Accounting, Business, or related field are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates invoices and processes payments.
• Reconciles accounts and communicates with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Performs month-end closings and prepares journal entries.
